Angel is Chairman and CEO, AIDA Technology. With a PhD from The University of Manchester, and MSc in Medical Electronic Systems from the University of Hertfordshire, he is an expert on business model innovation and platform strategizing. With over fifteen years experience in prestigious Business Schools, Angel has researched and advised FT500 corporations and technology startups in the UK and the US. He is an affiliate of The Big Society Network, and chairs the MMUBS Technology Venture series, which brings together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.

Carol (Caz) Haigh has over 30 years experience of working in healthcare settings. She is a committee member of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence which advises upon health resources and treatments, has acted as an expert advisor to the Royal College of Nursing and other health related charities and maintains strong links with the wider clinical disciplines facilitating improvements in patient engagement and experience.
Roz Kelly, MIMIT
Roz is Head of Operations, Manchester Integrated Medicine and Innovative Technologies. Following a PhD in Protein Crystallography she worked for several years in a Life Sciences company in preclinical trials software validation and integration, and project management. Following on from a position as Research Business Associate at Merseybio, the then Technology Transfer office for the University of Liverpool, she took the role of Business Manager then R&D Manager at the
Royal Liverpool University Hospital Trust before moving to MIMIT.

David Kil, Healthmantic
David Kil is the founder and CEO of Health Mantic, a lifestyle-medical informatics and sensor-based health gaming company. Prior to founding Health Mantic, he was Chief Scientist at South Korea Telecom Americas and Chief Science Officer at Humana. At SKTA, he founded the iWell project and built an integrated wellness platform, with successful clinical trials at PeaceHealth. At Humana, he led the design and development efforts in enterprise knowledge engine, predictive modelling, and outcomes analytics while working with Samsung on U-Health initiatives. He has won the best-of-breed technology award from the ComputerWorld magazine, co-authored a book entitled “Pattern Recognition and Prediction with Applications to Signal Characterization”, and holds 8 US/European patents.
